.From 2001-2006 I owned and operated a yoga studio in Warrenton, Virginia, where I gained first-hand in-the-trenches experience in print and online advertising.
I successfully grew a stable base of yoga clients by advertising in local publications, direct mail to current clients and Google profile optimization.
When the 5-year lease for my yoga studio space came up for renewal in 2006, my landlord wanted to raise my monthly rent substantially. The real estate market at the time was peaking before the 2008 real estate crash and I was not able to find an affordable alternative space for my yoga studio.
That’s when I decided to shift gears and start offering my website development and internet marketing expertise to other local business owners who needed help getting their businesses online. I’ve been helping local businesses with their website and online marketing needs ever since.
Recently I have expanded into offering print and direct mail services at affordable price points for locally-owned trades, restaurants and professional service businesses. For more information, visit my other website at AlexandriasBest.com
